Office 365 – Let’s get connected!

Join us on Thursday 12th July at the Digital Culture Festival – for these interactive sessions with the Staff Development and Office 365 teams.

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is useful but not essential
  • Option to bring an internet enabled device with you. We will be using a Windows device for demonstration purposes but will refer to other operating systems. PC’s will be available in the room

  • Discover, and practice using, some of tools in Office 365 that enable you to connect more effectively with colleagues and students including:

– An introduction to Office 365 and the range of tools available to connect and collaborate

– Sharing from OneDrive– making it easier to work collaboratively

– Using Skype for Business to connect with colleagues and students

  • Using IM, voice and audio to connect with colleagues and students
  • Co-author documents, papers and research
  • Run remote meetings, workshops and teaching sessions
