The Online Classroom
John Jackson will be encouraging colleagues and students to engage and ‘play’ with an instance of the virtual classroom to explore ways in which it can be used for teaching and learning. John will also be encouraging participants to explore ways in which the online studio / portfolio can be used to enable / enhance creative collaboration.
John is an ‘Educational Developer (Digital)’ with UAL’s ‘Teaching and Learning Exchange’ and works with TEL Coordinators and Course Teams across UAL. His own practice embraces a critical and pragmatic approach to digital pedagogies.
Digital Learning
In this session, Damien will be showcasing the various ways Collaborate Ultra is used in MA Arts and Cultural Enterprise and the joint MBA between CSM and Birkbeck. As such, online sessions can be used by facilitators if learning to engage learners as active participants rather than passive listeners.
